Contact me with any question, suggestion or comment!
Even though this website covers 3 very diverse subjects the contact page will only have one contact form. You can use it to contact me for any reason and on any of the 3 subjects. I'm going to cover them and give you a little background and qualification for each.
First is real estate. I've been in some aspect of real estate for over 50 years starting with a summer of surveying with Bureau of Public Roads. I then went to work for a surveying firm where I spent 6 years. After 4 years in the Air Force I started working on my AA degree in real estate. During this time I began investing and thought a real estate license would help so I got one. After a year or so I decided that the license was a detriment in buying foreclosures so gave it back.
I spent the next couple of years investing and then a friend made me what appeared to be a good proposition if I got my license again. I did this but quickly decide that again it was more of hindrance than a help so gave it back again. While buying and selling property I ran into a number of real estate appraisers and while talking with them decided that this would be a good fit to my investing so I became an appraiser. I was an appraiser for about 20 years and woudl have continued if the pressures from the lenders, loan agents and government hadn't made me decide to give it up. Because I had enough qualifications I was able to get my real estate brokers license where I concertrated on mortgage lending for 8 years until I retired 3 years ago. I know quite a bit about real estate and am willing to share the knowledge with you. Just ask.
Second is internet marketing. To be honest I don't know a whole lot about this subject as I've only been at it for the past year. If you have questions I will research and get you the best answers I can. If you have suggestions or tips I welcome them.
Third is classic cars which along with hot rods has been a passion for over 60 years. During the 2nd World War my Dad was in the Air Force so I knew everything there was to know about airplanes. I was 10 years old when the war ended and within 2 years I had switched from planes to cars. It started when the 1946 cars debuted but by 1949 when the big changes in the industry occured was when I really got the bug. A 49 Merc convert was the most coveted car for most of the guys I knew although the 1949 Olds Convertible was a close second.
I was still too young to drive except on the farm or offroad but when 1951 rolled aroung and I turned 16 I really got excited. While I couldn't afford a new one I did know a couple of kids with rich parents and they did have them. Some of my first cars inlcuded a 1938 Buick, 1931 A-bone hot rod, 40 Ford,48 Ford, 50 Olds convertible, etc. I loved them all but still was wanting a new one. I remember the new car debuts were the best time of the year. My buddies and I would hit all the new car show rooms where we would go over the cars with a fine toothed comb.
In 1957 I had a good job and decided I had to have a new car so I traded in my 1954 Buick and bought a brand new red and white Plymouth Belvedere Hardtop. I lowered it and put on dual pipes which made it one of the most beautiful cars around. I had a number of new cars and collector cars after that but now am retired and have only one which is in Nevada with my sister because I don't have room here in the mobile home park. I still haven't lost my passion though and will talk old cars at the drop of a hat. If you have questions, suggestions or any comments please let me know. I'm also going to start putting pictures of cars on the site so if you have a picture of a collector car you would like displayed be ready to send it when I've got the page set up.
